The basics01
Synaptril is a dietary supplement in vegetable capsules, labeled "Advanced Brain Support*". One capsule is one serving, and each white bottle holds 30.
The front of the bottle makes three claims, each with the FDA asterisk: brain support, "Enhances Memory & Focus*" and "Boosts Mental Energy*". The asterisk leads to the standard line on the back: *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Inside, the label lists one printed amount, 80 mg of magnesium, and a 575 mg proprietary blend of six ingredients. No caffeine or other stimulant appears anywhere on it.
The bottle names Gluco Elixir of Aurora, Colorado, as the distributor; the maker is not named. Thesynaptril, the site you are reading, is a U.S. retail partner, not the manufacturer. Orders go through the official BuyGoods checkout (Synaptril sales page).

Synaptril is not a medicine for memory loss, dementia or ADHD, and no supplement is proven to prevent memory decline (NCCIH, Supplements for Cognitive Function). FDA does not approve supplements before they are sold (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements). If your memory has changed lately, start with a doctor's visit; many causes are treatable (MedlinePlus, Memory Loss).
How you take it02
One capsule a day, as the label directs. The label gives no time of day and no food rule, so pick a daily anchor you will not miss.
The exact words: "As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily." A bottle lasts 30 days at that rate. The label also says not to exceed the recommended dose and to skip a bottle with a damaged or missing seal.
A new bottle should have an intact safety seal. The label says not to use it if the seal is damaged or missing.
One capsule is one serving. Swallow it with water. The label says one a day and never more.
The label gives no time of day. Many people pair it with breakfast so they remember. Keep prescribed medicine on its own schedule.
The money-back window closes 60 days after purchase. Note what changed, if anything, and talk to your doctor about memory concerns.
More detail, including what to do after a missed day, is on the how to take Synaptril page.
Ingredients03
Synaptril lists six ingredients in one 575 mg proprietary blend: magnesium glycinate, alpha lipoic acid, butcher's broom root extract, L-carnitine, turmeric extract (95% curcuminoids) and coenzyme Q10.
A proprietary blend only has to show its total weight and list its ingredients from most to least by weight (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts). So magnesium glycinate, listed first, is the largest share, and CoQ10, listed last, is the smallest.
Magnesium is the one nutrient with a printed amount: 80 mg, 19% of the Daily Value. The capsule shell is hypromellose, a plant-based material.
From the Supplement Facts panel. The six lines are the 575 mg blend, listed from most to least by weight (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts). Other ingredients (the vegetable capsule, cellulose, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, silicon dioxide) are not counted.

Blend math04
Only the magnesium is printed, but the label still lets you work out the rest. Magnesium glycinate fills most of the capsule, which leaves little room for the other five.
Magnesium glycinate is about 14% magnesium by weight (GlobalRPH, Magnesium Glycinate). To deliver 80 mg of magnesium, a capsule needs roughly 567 mg of it, nearly the whole 575 mg blend. Even if a richer grade were used, the other five ingredients would share at most about 175 mg.
Move the slider to see how the split changes. The numbers are ceilings from arithmetic, not lab results.
At 14.1%, 80 mg of magnesium needs about 567 mg of magnesium glycinate. That leaves about 8 mg for alpha lipoic acid, butcher's broom, L-carnitine, turmeric and CoQ10 together.
Arithmetic from the label (80 mg magnesium, 575 mg blend, listed most to least by weight (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts)) and the magnesium share of magnesium glycinate (GlobalRPH, Magnesium Glycinate). The exact grade used is not printed, so we show the range. Ceilings, not amounts.

The label05
The flat label has three panels: directions and cautions on the left, the brand and its claims in the middle, and the Supplement Facts on the right.
Fourteen numbered spots explain each part in plain words. On a phone, the label scrolls sideways.

Claims vs evidence06
Nobody knows yet: no study has tested Synaptril itself. The label's memory and focus claims are structure/function wording, not proven results.
Research on the single ingredients is thin for memory. A Cochrane review found no qualifying trials of alpha lipoic acid in dementia (Cochrane, Alpha lipoic acid for dementia). Curcumin helped long-term memory in one 18-month trial of a high-absorption form at 180 mg a day (Small et al., Am J Geriatr Psychiatry 2018), and the memory research on carnitine used the acetyl form at grams a day (Cochrane, Acetyl-L-carnitine for dementia).
An expert panel convened by AARP could not endorse any supplement for brain health (AARP / GCBH, Brain Health Supplements 2019). Each claim and brand badge is lined up against the evidence below.
Claims as printed on the label and the brand badges. A health claim needs competent and reliable scientific evidence, generally from human trials of the same product (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance).
See every claim in detail on the Synaptril benefits page.
Safety07
The label rules out anyone under 18 and pregnant or nursing mothers. It asks everyone who takes a medication or has a medical condition to consult a physician first.
Three interactions stand out. Coenzyme Q10 has been reported to weaken warfarin (Linus Pauling Institute, Coenzyme Q10). Alpha lipoic acid may lower blood sugar further in people on diabetes medicines (Linus Pauling Institute, Lipoic Acid). Magnesium binds some antibiotics and osteoporosis drugs, so doses are spaced apart (NIH ODS, Magnesium).

Know the signs08
Some forgetfulness is a normal part of getting older, like losing your keys now and then. Problems that keep getting in the way of daily life are different and need a doctor.
The National Institute on Aging lists five pairs of examples. Tap each card to see which side it falls on (NIA, Memory Problems and Aging).
Tap each card to see where it falls. Then tap Sort them to group them.
Pairs from the National Institute on Aging (NIA, Memory Problems and Aging). One item alone is not a diagnosis. If changes are new, getting worse or worrying the people close to you, see a doctor (Alzheimer's Association, 10 Warning Signs). Sudden confusion, slurred speech or weakness on one side is an emergency: call 911.
Low vitamin B12, thyroid problems, medicine side effects, depression and poor sleep can all blur memory, and many improve with treatment (NIA, Memory Problems and Aging). Read memory changes with aging and brain fog causes.
Verdict09
Synaptril is easy to take and fully listed on the label, but its doses are small and untested as a product.
Our view: a simple magnesium-led capsule with small extras. Treat it as a supplement, and put sleep, activity and a doctor's check first if memory worries you.
Prices10
Synaptril costs $178 for 2 bottles plus shipping, $216 for 3 bottles and $294 for 6 bottles on the official order page (Synaptril sales page).
That works out to $89, $72 or $49 a bottle. At one capsule a day, a bottle lasts 30 days, so the daily cost runs from about $2.97 down to about $1.63. Three bottles ship free in the US, and six ship free.

Reviews12
A review goes up only once it matches a real order and the buyer agrees. None is verified yet, so the cards below are empty slots.
The vendor supplied photos for its review cards, and they are shown small with that label. The sample scores, order counts and quotes in the seller's brief are not verified, so they are left out; the FTC bans fake reviews and testimonials (FTC, Fake Reviews Final Rule 2024).

Badges13
The brand's ten badges are claims by the seller, not certificates. None names a certifier, a lab or an audit date.
Some match the label, like the money-back badge. Others, like "Doctor Formulated", have nothing behind them that we could find. Each one gets an honest note.

A brand badge. There is no factory, certifier or audit date on the label.

A brand badge. The label prints no facility statement, and FDA registration is not approval.

A badge from the brand. The label itself names no country of manufacture.

A brand badge. No outside certification is printed on the label.

A brand badge. No certifier is named, and the capsule also lists flow agents such as silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate.

A brand badge. No formulator is named or credentialed.

A brand badge. No gluten test or certifier is named.

A brand badge. No dairy appears in the listed ingredients.

A brand badge. The capsule is hypromellose, a plant-based shell; the stearate sources are not stated.

Matches the sales page: a 60-day money-back guarantee.
The badges all come from the brand's own image set. A badge is a claim by the seller, not a certificate: none names a certifier, lab or audit. FDA does not approve supplements before they are sold (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements), and health claims in ads need real evidence (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance).

Synaptril is a capsule. The bottle says 30 capsules, and the Supplement Facts list one capsule as a serving. Pages selling Synaptril drops or gummies do not match the label, so check the seller before you buy.
No caffeine or other stimulant is listed on the Synaptril label. The blend is magnesium glycinate, alpha lipoic acid, butcher's broom, L-carnitine, turmeric and CoQ10, and the other ingredients are the capsule and flow agents.
Ask your doctor first. Coenzyme Q10, one of the six ingredients, has been reported to reduce warfarin's effect, so your INR may need checking (Linus Pauling Institute, Coenzyme Q10). Keep taking warfarin exactly as prescribed.
No. FDA does not approve any dietary supplement before it is sold (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements). The label carries the standard statement that its claims have not been evaluated by FDA and that it is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
We found no Synaptril listing on Amazon, Walmart or eBay when we checked. The official order page sends buyers to a BuyGoods checkout. Listings elsewhere may be resellers or copies, and the 60-day guarantee may not cover them.
