On the panel01

What do the Synaptril supplement facts say?

The Synaptril supplement facts say one capsule is a serving, a bottle holds 30 servings, and each capsule carries 80 mg of magnesium inside a 575 mg proprietary blend.

The panel has four parts: the serving line, the magnesium line with its Daily Value, the blend with its total weight and six names, and the other ingredients. Two footnotes close it.

Tap a number on the panel image for a plain-words note on that line.

Tap a number to read that part of the panel.

  1. Serving

Serving size 1 capsule; 30 servings per container.

  2. Magnesium 80 mg

As magnesium glycinate from the proprietary blend: 19% of the Daily Value.

  3. 19% DV

The Daily Value for magnesium is 420 mg, so 80 mg is 19%.

  4. Proprietary blend, 575 mg

Six ingredients share 575 mg, listed most to least by weight.

  5. The six lines

Magnesium glycinate, alpha lipoic acid, butcher's broom root, L-carnitine, turmeric (95% curcuminoids), CoQ10.

  6. Other ingredients

The capsule shell and flow agents. No sweetener, caffeine or color is listed.

Daily Value02

What does 19% DV for magnesium mean on the Synaptril label?

The 19% DV means one capsule gives about a fifth of the 420 mg Daily Value for magnesium: 80 divided by 420 is 0.19.

The Daily Value is one reference number for food labels. Personal needs differ. The adult RDA is 310-320 mg for women and 400-420 mg for men, from food and supplements together (NIH ODS, Magnesium).

The ceiling matters more for supplements. Adults should keep magnesium from pills and powders under 350 mg a day, because larger doses can loosen the stool (NIH ODS, Magnesium). One capsule uses less than a quarter of that limit, which leaves room for a multivitamin.

Proprietary blend03

Why does the Synaptril label show only a total for the blend?

The Synaptril label shows only a 575 mg total because US rules let a proprietary blend print its combined weight instead of each ingredient's amount (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts).

The trade-off is that the order must be honest: most to least by weight. Magnesium also has to be printed, since it has a Daily Value. That is why one amount appears and five do not.

The order still gives a ceiling for each line. With magnesium glycinate taking most of the weight, line 2 can hold at most about 175 mg and line 6 at most about 35 mg. The arithmetic is in how Synaptril works.

Word for word04

What does the whole Synaptril label say, word for word?

The whole Synaptril label fits on three panels, and every word of it is typed into the table below the image so you can search it or read it on a phone.

The left panel holds suggested use, caution, storage and the distributor. The middle carries the logo and the three claims. The right holds the facts panel.

Use and cautions05

What do the directions and cautions on the Synaptril label say?

The Synaptril label says to take one capsule daily, never more, and rules out use under age 18 and by pregnant or nursing mothers.

No time of day or food rule is given. It asks anyone on a medication or with a medical condition to consult a physician first.

  • Do not exceed the recommended dose
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Do not use if the safety seal is damaged or missing
  • Store below 30°C (86°F), somewhere cool and dry
Keep taking prescribed medicine

The label's "consult with a physician" line is worth acting on: show the panel to your pharmacist. See Synaptril side effects for the known interactions.

Gaps06

What is not printed on the Synaptril label?

The Synaptril label does not name the manufacturer, the country of manufacture, or the amounts of five blend ingredients.

It names Gluco Elixir of Aurora, Colorado, as distributor. The vertical code ENB_452_01_062526 has no printed meaning. Lot and best-before marks may sit on the bottle base.

No lab report is published. Read Synaptril quality testing.

FAQ07

Synaptril questions people ask

What is the serving size on the Synaptril label?

The Synaptril serving size is one capsule, and each bottle holds 30 servings. The label's directions match: take one capsule daily as a dietary supplement. There is no half-dose or double-dose option printed.

Why is magnesium listed separately on the Synaptril supplement facts?

Magnesium has a Daily Value, so the rules require its amount even inside a blend (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts). The label shows 80 mg (19% DV) and notes it comes from the magnesium glycinate in the proprietary blend, so it is not an extra ingredient.

What does the dagger symbol on the Synaptril panel mean?

The dagger means Daily Value not established. It sits next to the 575 mg blend because its six ingredients, such as alpha lipoic acid and CoQ10, have no official daily target. Only magnesium has one.

Who is named as the distributor on the Synaptril label?

Gluco Elixir of Aurora, CO 80011 is named as distributor, with the phone number +1 (323) 348-1373 and [email protected]. The label does not name the company that makes the capsules or the country where they are made.

What temperature should Synaptril be stored at?

Store Synaptril below 30°C (86°F) in a cool, dry place, per the label. A hot car or a steamy bathroom shelf is a poor spot. Keep the cap tight and the bottle out of reach of children.

What does the code ENB_452_01_062526 on the Synaptril label mean?

The label does not explain it. It is a small vertical code along the edge of the label, likely a print or artwork reference. It is not a lot number, an expiry date or a lab result, as far as the label shows.

Is the Synaptril label the same as the sales page?

Mostly, but the label carries more. The order page names no ingredient and no product form beyond bottles (Synaptril sales page). The label lists all six blend lines, the other ingredients, the cautions and the distributor, so it is the source to trust.
