How to Spot a Fake Supplement Website
A fake supplement website imitates a real brand or invents one to take payments. Spot one by checking the exact domain, the contact details, the checkout, and any timers, seals or reviews. As of October 18, 2026, we found copycat pages for Synaptril, so the domain check matters.

How can you tell a fake supplement website from the real one?
Start with the address bar. A fake site often sits on a lookalike domain, a free page-builder address, or a name with extra words.
For Synaptril, orders go through synaptril.com/pv and then the BuyGoods checkout (Synaptril sales page). As of our check, we found copycat pages on lovable.app, a Trustpilot profile for a different domain, and paid advertorials. None is the order page.
Synaptigen and Synaptol are different products. Read names letter by letter, and bookmark the address you trust.
What are the warning signs on a supplement website?
The signs cluster in three places: timers, contact details and reviews.
| Sign | What to check |
|---|---|
| Countdown timer that resets | Reload the page and see if it restarts |
| No phone, address or email | Call the number; match it to the bottle |
| Perfect ratings, no names | Fake reviews are banned (FTC, Fake Reviews Final Rule 2024) |

Call first. The sales page's return policy lists a different address (SHIPOFFERS, 19655 E 35th Dr #100, Aurora, CO 80011), so use the one the order desk gives you. Include your full name, email and order ID.
How do you check a supplement against its label?
Compare every claim on the page with the bottle. Third-party articles have listed ingredients that are not on the Synaptril label, such as Rhodiola.
The label lists six and names Gluco Elixir of Aurora, Colorado, as distributor. If a page disagrees, trust the bottle. A site that lists a different formula, such as an extra herb, is describing something else. Our lot number check explains the codes.

Health claims need solid evidence (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance). See the ads guide.

Contact your card issuer first and ask to dispute the charge. Keep screenshots.
Report a harmful product to FDA (FDA, How to Report a Problem). To buy the real capsule, use the official checkout listed on where to buy. On arrival, check the seal first.
- 01
Check the seal
A new bottle should have an intact safety seal. The label says not to use it if the seal is damaged or missing.
- 02
Take one capsule
One capsule is one serving. Swallow it with water. The label says one a day and never more.
- 03
Pick a daily anchor
The label gives no time of day. Many people pair it with breakfast so they remember. Keep prescribed medicine on its own schedule.
- 04
Review by day 60
The money-back window closes 60 days after purchase. Note what changed, if anything, and talk to your doctor about memory concerns.

FAQ01
Synaptril questions people ask
How do I know if a supplement website is legitimate?
Check the exact domain, find a working phone and email, match the ingredients to the bottle, and read the return terms.
Are countdown timers on supplement sites always fake?
Not always, but a timer that restarts on reload is a pressure tactic. Check the price on the official order page.
Can I report a fake supplement website?
Yes. Tell your card issuer if you paid, and report harm from a product to FDA.
