Is Synaptril Worth the Money?

Quick answer

Is Synaptril worth it? Only as a low-stakes trial at the lowest per-day price. It costs about $1.63 to $2.97 a day, but no trial has tested the capsule and five of six doses are hidden. Its fair strengths are a full ingredient list, one capsule a day and a 60-day guarantee.

What does Synaptril cost per day?

Per day, Synaptril comes to about $1.63 to $2.97, depending on the pack. The order page lists three prices (Synaptril sales page).

Prices on the order page, October 18, 2026
PackPricePer day
2 bottles, $89 each$178 plus shipping$2.97
3 bottles, $72 each$216, free US shipping$2.40
6 bottles, $49 each$294, free shipping$1.63

The cheapest day costs less than the dearest by almost half, but you commit to 180 days up front. The Synaptril price page has a planner.

What do you get for that money?

You get 80 mg of magnesium and five more ingredients whose amounts are not printed. The arithmetic says they are small.

Magnesium glycinate is about 14% magnesium (GlobalRPH, Magnesium Glycinate), so 80 mg needs about 567 mg of it, nearly all of the 575 mg blend. Alpha lipoic acid, butcher's broom, L-carnitine, turmeric and CoQ10 share at most 175 mg, and probably far less.

No trial has tested the product. An AARP expert panel could not endorse any brain supplement (AARP / GCBH, Brain Health Supplements 2019). If you only want magnesium, a plain magnesium product is another route.

Who might reasonably try Synaptril?

Adults who understand the limits, have no medicine conflict and want a simple magnesium-led capsule might try it. Others should look elsewhere first.

Reasonable to try if

  • You want one capsule a day with no stimulant listed
  • You will track results and use the 60-day window
  • You have asked a pharmacist about your medicines

How much do you risk if Synaptril does not suit you?

You risk the price of the pack plus return postage, because the guarantee takes all bottles back but the buyer pays shipping and it is not refunded (Synaptril sales page).

Match the pack to the window. The 2-bottle pack gives 60 days of capsules, exactly the length of the guarantee, at $178 plus shipping. The 3-bottle pack costs $216 with free US shipping but lasts 90 days, so you decide before it is used up. Empty bottles are accepted, so finishing a pack does not void the offer.

575 mg blend · magnesium glycinate about 567 mg · other five about 8 mg (GlobalRPH, Magnesium Glycinate)

The bar shows what the money buys: one ingredient with a printed dose and five that share the rest. Ask three questions before choosing a pack:

  • Will I log my results for 8 weeks?
  • Can I live with the return postage if I send it back?
  • Is my doctor or pharmacist aware that I plan to take it?

How do you limit the risk of paying too much?

You limit the risk by using the guarantee and reading the return terms first. You return all bottles within 60 days of purchase, and return postage is yours.

FAQ01

Synaptril questions people ask

Is Synaptril worth it compared with plain magnesium?

It depends on whether you value the extra five ingredients. Their amounts are not printed and are small by our arithmetic, so ask what you expect them to add.

Is the Synaptril 6-bottle pack worth it?

It is the cheapest per day, about $1.63, but you pay $294 for 180 days. Starting with a smaller pack and using the guarantee window limits what you commit before you know.

Is Synaptril worth it if I already take other supplements?

Check overlap first. Magnesium adds up across products, with a 350 mg supplement upper limit (NIH ODS, Magnesium). Ask your pharmacist before combining.

Is Synaptril worth it if I only want to try it for 60 days?

The 2-bottle pack matches the 60-day guarantee window, at $178 plus shipping (Synaptril sales page). A 3-bottle pack costs $216 with free US shipping but lasts 90 days, longer than the window.
