Synaptril Fact Check: Do Online Articles Match the Label?

Quick answer

A Synaptril fact check starts with the label, because several online articles disagree with it. As of our check on October 18, 2026, one lists Rhodiola and another lists phosphatidylserine, and neither is printed on the bottle. The label lists six blend ingredients and one printed amount, 80 mg of magnesium.

What does the Synaptril label actually say?

The Synaptril label lists 80 mg of magnesium and a 575 mg proprietary blend of six ingredients, most to least by weight: magnesium glycinate, alpha lipoic acid, butcher's broom root extract, L-carnitine, turmeric extract and coenzyme Q10.

That order matters, because a blend must be listed in descending order of weight (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts). The numbered panel shows the six spots to read.

Which Synaptril ingredients do other articles get wrong?

Two third-party articles we read list ingredients that the label does not print.

  1. Serving

Serving size 1 capsule; 30 servings per container.

  2. Magnesium 80 mg

As magnesium glycinate from the proprietary blend: 19% of the Daily Value.

  3. 19% DV

The Daily Value for magnesium is 420 mg, so 80 mg is 19%.

  4. Proprietary blend, 575 mg

Six ingredients share 575 mg, listed most to least by weight.

  5. The six lines

Magnesium glycinate, alpha lipoic acid, butcher's broom root, L-carnitine, turmeric (95% curcuminoids), CoQ10.

  6. Other ingredients

The capsule shell and flow agents. No sweetener, caffeine or color is listed.

Are "Synaptril exposed" articles trustworthy?

No, "exposed" headlines are not a sign of independent reporting. The ones we found were newswire pieces that call themselves paid advertorials.

FTC guidance says testimonials do not substantiate a health claim (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance), and the same goes for a press release. Weigh each article against the printed label first.

How do you read the Synaptril blend line by line?

Read the Synaptril blend line by line by treating the order as a ranking: the first ingredient weighs the most and the last weighs the least.

Start with magnesium. The label shows 80 mg, and magnesium glycinate is about 14% magnesium by weight (GlobalRPH, Magnesium Glycinate). That works out to about 567 mg of magnesium glycinate. The blend is 575 mg, so 575 minus 567 leaves about 8 mg for the other five.

With a richer 20% grade, magnesium glycinate takes 400 mg and leaves at most 175 mg for the five. Alpha lipoic acid can then hold at most 175 mg, butcher's broom at most 88, L-carnitine at most 58, turmeric at most 44 and coenzyme Q10 at most 35.

These are ceilings, not measured doses. No article can know the true amounts, because the label does not print them.

Does the Synaptril claim "Enhances Memory & Focus*" hold up?

The claim is unproven for this capsule. No published trial tests Synaptril itself, and the ingredient studies are mixed.

Turmeric research shows a mixed memory signal (Yu et al., J Prev Alz Dis 2025), and the amounts here are small. Read the supplement facts and ingredients pages, and the ads guide. Keep taking any prescribed medicine.

FAQ01

Synaptril questions people ask

Does Synaptril contain Rhodiola?

No. The label does not list Rhodiola. One third-party article names it, but the printed Supplement Facts panel is the reference.

Does Synaptril contain phosphatidylserine?

No. Phosphatidylserine is not on the label. The six blend ingredients are magnesium glycinate, alpha lipoic acid, butcher's broom, L-carnitine, turmeric extract and CoQ10.

How do you fact check a Synaptril article yourself?

Compare its ingredient list with the bottle, line by line. Then check whether it names its sources, discloses payment and shows a trial of the actual capsule.

Can an article know the exact Synaptril ingredient amounts?

No. Only the maker knows them, and the label prints just 80 mg of magnesium and the 575 mg blend total. Treat any exact figure for the other five as a guess.
